Oral Sedation

Oral Sedation 2017-08-06T22:20:27+00:00

Nitrous oxide is an odorless, colorless gas that upon being inhaled produces relaxation and a sense of pleasure. All body functions remain normal. Within minutes of coming off nitrous oxide one is clear headed, therefore does not need another to drive them to their appointment. This also allows a person to continue with their day normally with no lingering effects. Nitrous oxide is used to help relieve dental anxiety and promote patient comfort.

With conscious sedation, an oral medication is used to relax a patient. The patient is not asleep and is able to respond and breathe on their own. All body functions remain normal.

Overall I am very pleased with the practice. I would be remiss if I gave a perfect review. Nobody would believe it anyway. Although, reluctantly I admit, I do look forward to returning in a few months! Thank you! You all were wonderful! — CB
